My oldest sister has been harangued into writing and posting here under the name Zephyr. Most of her attention is required elsewhere for more pressing matters, but The Buttered Slice is thrilled to host some of her creative writing. Look for more information about Zephyr on the contributors page.

The site’s theme has changed a little. After a few months I started to find the old backdrop dreary and knew I could do better. We hope the new background is an improvement.

I made a post yesterday about a new subdomain at The Buttered Slice where I would host my photography, but after consideration I decided that two domains for what was in spirit one site is too confusing. I’ve found some great gallery software that makes it easy to host my photography here at the main page of The Buttered Slice. One less site for you to check. We’re also recruiting a few more contributors which should help us update more often.

Squid also tells me he will posting some music tonight, so we look forward to that.
